alrighty,
Last night I went to this...Padi band live performance stuff...with my friends, Informatics guys. It was on Sabuga. The play should have started at 19:00 but when we got there at 18:30 there were some announcements saying that the gate would be opened at 19:20. What a bum! I mean, the schedule said "19:00". So I assumed that at that hour the Padi show should be starting or what. Phew, it appeared that designated time in the schedule was the time when they'd actually open the gate.
Anyway, as suspected, the show wasn't even started until around 20:00. It was quite a long time to wait. And while they kept us waiting, they showed us some commercials from a certain cigarettes provider which was, actually, the main sponsor for the show. They kept playing the same commercials again and again. How boring. But once in a while they showed some video clips from the band though.
As the band started the live performance, one of my friend provoked me to come front and watch from the festival section. Well, I thought why not, I mean...we could actually see the show from nearer point of view. So I ended up giving my seat to a friend of mine who just came and didn't get any seat at all.
Going to the festival section was a bad idea after all. Once I was there I realized that it was already full of people so me and my friend had to stand behind. Well, a little movements here and there and I managed to move several steps forward. But it was then when I realized that the festival section wasn't for me at all. With the height of only 165s cm I couldn't see between people's head...and hands which they started to raise them up to the air. I tried to find someplace to climb to so I could get a better view, but most of them were already occupied.
"D'oh, this sucks," so I thought to myself.
So I went back to the higher ground and found myself a place with a better view of the show but it was quite far from the stage plus no seat, so I had to stand all the time, far from the stage. Ah well, at least I still had the chance to enjoy the music.
Personally, overall last night show was around 6 out of 10. Various factors. Hmph...
